What Do I Need to Leave in My Property For Long Term Rentals?
This is free helpful guidance and support from La Cala Rents.
As a landlord the good thing about renting your property furnished for long term rental, is that it is very open with regards to what you have to leave in the property. Many tenants have a lot of their own personal items when moving to a furnished property and only require the basics when renting.
This allows you to leave as much or as little as you wish providing you leave the basic requirements. As long as you are transparent with the items that will remain in the property when it is rented, you will be fine.
What are the basic requirements?
When advertising a furnished long term rental property, you need to ensure you provide the basic fundamentals that a rental tenant will need to live on a day to day basis. These include things such as beds with mattresses, bed side units, wardrobes, window coverings, dining table with chairs, sofa, coffee table and television. In the Kitchen, you will also need to provide a fridge and freezer, washing machine and dishwasher if there is room. If you have a garden or terrace, generally a garden table and chairs will also be expected.
As always, please do not hesitate to contact La Cala Rents for any help, support or guidance.
